Volunteers
The East Tennessee Historical Society is thankful for the volunteer support we receive from many in the community. Consistant areas in which we utilize volunteers are:
- in the office,
- with student tours of the Museum of East Tennessee History,
- with the artifact collections,
- in exhibit development,
- and in customer service.

Internships
Internships are available (unpaid) and are customized based on the needs of the student. Basic internships are for a minimum of 10-12 hours per week and involve work on a consistant project for which there are goals and objectives specific to the internship.
