  • All surviving Tennessee census schedules 1810-1930
  • Population schedules of the United States census for each of the 14 southern and border states from the earliest surviving census for that state through 1880
  • Selected county records of 31 East Tennessee counties and six Middle Tennessee counties
  • All 1500 volumes of Tennessee county records transcribed (typed) and usually indexed by the Tennessee WPA (1936-1942) (93 reels) from the master set in the Tennessee State Library and Archives
  • Indexes to all the land grants in the present-day state of Tennessee made by the state of North Carolina (1778-1800) and the state of Tennessee (1806-1927)
  • Military service records for Tennesseans from:
  • War of 1812
  • Cherokee Removal (1838)
  • Mexican-American War (1846-1848)
  • Civil War (1861-1865)
  • World War I
  • Approximately one-third (surnames A-G) of the Revolutionary War Pension and Bounty Land Records (Series M 804)
  • Confederate pensions granted by the state of Tennessee
  • Draper Manuscripts: 123 reels of microfilm containing 500 volumes of compiled original documents and research collected by Lyman C. Draper (1815-1891) on trans-Allegheny settlement, the French and Indian War, the American Revolution, and the War of 1812
